Eastern Europe qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 are done and dusted.
After Team Spirit, the TI12 champions withdraw from the competition, Eastern Europe will have just two teams heading to the upcoming $1,000,000 event in Kuala Lumpur. BetBoom Team and 9Pandas claimed the two tickets up for grabs in their region after receiving an invite to the closed qualifiers.
BetBom Team dodged the post-TI12 shuffle completely and entered the new competitive season with no roster changes while for 9Pandas, ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 will mark the debut of their revamped roster. They quietly swapped three players after returning from Seattle with just a 9th-12th placement, including captain Alexey "Solo" Berezin.

While BetBoom Team had a smooth sail through the upper bracket, 9Pandas were dropped to the lower bracket in the first series. They made a full lower bracket run knocking out of the competition the likes of NAVI and Virtus.pro to join the fray at ESL One Kuala Lumpur next month.
