Team Secret is complete and ready to enter the new competitive year with old friends coming back.
After spending two years back at home in Southeast Asia at Team SMG, Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng returns to Team Secret in hopes of replicating the success he had under Clement "Puppey" Ivanov’s leadership the first time he joined him. Midone’s first stint with Team Secret, through 2016-2019 brought him several championship titles, including two Major trophies and a top 4 finish at TI9.
Since his departure, Secret have constantly improved on the TI stage, reaching top 3 in 2021 and finishing runners-up in 2022, however, the team has also experienced its lowest point this past season.
Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan experienced the 2022-2023 season turmoil firsthand. He joined at the beginning of the season coming from Gamin Gladiators and having to make a role swap to fit in the Secret ranks. But after being relegated twice to Division II with Secret, he was let go. The year didn’t improve by much for Team Secret, who ended up missing The International 2023.
However, moving into a new season where the DPC is no more, BOOM makes a return in the same offlane position.
