Talon Esports will head into the next competitive year with a brand new roster.
For almost the entire 2023 competitive season, Talon Esports dominated the Southeast Asia region. They made it to two of the three Majors this year and constantly improved up to the point where they posed a real threat on international stages. Lima Major brought Talon their first top 3 finish this year, followed by another top 3 at the $15,000,000 Riyadh Masters 2023 tournament.
Heading into The International 2023 as the only SEA team who had secured its spot via Dota Pro Circuit points, Talon were the biggest hope at a good placement from their region. They were the only SEA team to make it to the playoff brackets and had a shot at making it to the top 8, but once they reached the playoffs they suffered two losses in a row, to Team Liquid and BetBoom Team, which sent them home with just a 9th-12th finish.

This year SEA, along with all other regions are set to witness a lot of roster changes with pretty much no team looking the same. Talon are just the first to announce a full overhaul. Even before TI12 was over, Blacklist International also bid farewell to two of their players along with their coach.
