Post TI12 shuffle madness continues.
nouns is the first North American organisation to bid farewell to its full Dota 2 roster. The news comes as a surprise given the fact that nouns were the only ones from NA to reach a Top 8 placement at The International 2023.
According to the organisation, players decided to depart from nouns rather than the org dropping them. “We didn't drop anyone, the roster decided to split up,” nouns mentioned on X.
Former nouns roster
Hector Antonio “K1” RodriguezNico “Gunnar” Lopez
David “Moo” Hull
Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos
Luke “YamSun” Wang
While none of the players made any official announcements regarding their future, David “Moo” Hull posted a few days ago that he is looking for a team. It is unclear if the rest of his teammates will stick together and move under a new banner or if everyone will go their separate ways and find new homes for the next competitive year.
This is the third team to fully disband in the post TI shuffle. South American teams beastcoast and Evil Geniuses were the first to split ways with their rosters and given the circumstances, Héctor “K1” Rodríguez might end up going back to SA for the 2024 competitive season.
nouns and their former players have less than a week to figure out what’s next for them if they want to participate in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 open and regional qualifiers which are set to start on November 12.
