The DreamLeague - ESL Pro Tour is set to begin with 16 top teams competing for a trip to Riyadh Masters 2023 and the lion's share of $1,000,000.
In the days leading up to Berlin Major starting on April 26, ESL is bringing together 16 top teams worldwide for a two-week battle of dominance taking place from April 9- 23rd.
The winner will receive $300,000 of the $1,000,000 prize pool and a spot at the $15,000,000 Riyadh Masters event.
Although it’s held online, competitors are required to be in Europe in order to be able to compete —which is proving a bit difficult for some teams.
PSG.LGD has announced that they will not be able to attend due to visa issues.
In addition, Abed "Abed" Yusop of Shopify Rebellion will also miss the start of the event due to visa processing timelines. Kasra "Mikey" Mesbah will compete in his place.

Group Stage 1: April 9 - 12
- Two groups of eight teams each
- Single round-robin
- All matches are Bo2
- Top four teams from each group advance to group stage 2
- Remaining teams are eliminated
* With PSG.LGD being unable to compete, their group is down to 7 teams from 8. Therefore, in Group B only 3 will be eliminated at the end of the first group stage unless ESL has a last-minute replacement team.
Group Stage 2: April 14 - 20
- One group of eight teams
- Single round-robin
- All matches are Bo3
- Top two teams advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- 3rd and 4th place team advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs: April 22 - 23
- Double-elimination bracket
- All matches except Grand Final are Bo3
- Grand Final is Bo5
