DPC WEU 2023 match hype; OG vs Entity

As the DPC WEU 2023 Spring Tour winds down, the Division I hype match of the season is about to begin.

With the DPC Tours being shortened to just three weeks for each Division, the competition always seems to be fast, furious, hot, and heavy. And it has never been more the case as in the DPC WEU 2023 Division I Spring Tour.

Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports have already cemented their place at the Berlin Major but there is still one more slot available.

Above-expectation performances of the two promoted teams, Ooredoo Thunders and Monaspa, and disappointing performances from both OG and Team Nigma —both currently sitting at the bottom rungs of the standings.

As it is now, there is only one official/regular season series left and it will be hype!

The winner of the OG/Entity series will then enter into a two-way tie for the Major slot with OT.

The loser will enter a three-way time for relegation into Division II next season against Moonspa and Nigma Galaxy.

Not many fans expected to see OG in this position despite Mikhail "Misha" Agatov stepping down from active play and swapping roles with coach Evgenii "Chu" Makarov.

There has been a shift at the top of the Dota 2 landscape over the last year or so and it seems to be a continuing trend this season.

Don't miss out on the action tomorrow. Broadcasts will be available in English, Ukrainian, Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish

Spring Tour

This year’s DPC is still split into three Tours - Winter, Spring, and Summer, but the schedule for the regional leagues went down from six weeks to just three. However, the two divisions of each regional league will not be played in the same time frame. Division II starts once Division I matches are over.

  • Division 1 Regional League Tournament: March 12 - April 2, 2023
  • Division 2 Regional League Tournament: April 4 - 25, 2023
  • Major Tournament: April 26 - May 7, 2023

The second Major will be held in Berlin, Germany beginning April 26, but fans can watch live at Velodrom Arena from May 5-7th.
