North American esports organization Team Solo Mid (TSM) FTX ventures for the first time into the Dota 2 world by signing Team Undying.
While they couldn’t make the big reveal heading into a Major, due to the Spring Tour LAN getting canceled, Team Solo Mid FTX announced their signing of Team Undying ahead of the Dota Pro Circuit Winter Tour Regional Finals.
Team Undying formed as a stack at the beginning of 2021, ahead of the previous Dota Pro Circuit season and established themselves as one of the top NA teams fairly quickly. They became one of just two teams to qualify and compete at The International 10 as an independent squad, and despite lacking the logistical and financial support that an organization can provide to its players, Team Undying reached the playoffs spot at TI10.
They made no roster changes after The International 10, and a year after their formation, their commitment to stay at the top of the NA competitive scene paid off.
“Signing with TSM is a dream come true,” MoonMeander said in the announcement made by the organization. “To all the TSM Dota 2 fans out there, expect a new era in NA.”

This DPC season, Team Undying placed second in the North America regional league and secured themselves a spot at the first Major of the year. Unfortunately, the tournament got canceled due to COVID concerns and travel restrictions.
Regional Finals are to replace the Major and TSM FTX will be competing February 18-20 in the NA event along with Quincy Crew, Evil Geniuses and 4 Zoomers. Their first opponents in the double elimination bracket are Evil Geniuses, the series being scheduled for February 18, 2022.
