Netflix original animated series based on Valve’s game Dota 2, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 2, or Book 2, is set to arrive on January 6, 2022, bringing new characters from the game to the screen.
Season 2 trailer reveals an army of Dragons ready to fight Terrorblade, who wants to collect all eight Eldwurm souls to change the entire world in his own image. Davion, the Dragon Knight, who has the soul of Slyrak inside him and can transform into the Eldwurm, seems to be joined in his quest of stopping Terrorblade by Lina, who hasn’t made an appearance in the animated series until now.
Based on the trailer, the second season is also likely to pick up from where it left the viewers at the end of the first book and follow Invoker’s plan on seeking revenge on the Goddess of the Moon, Selemne. The storyline is developed on many layers and all of them converge to the central problem, which is the Terrorblade. For this second book, fans are waiting to see what will happen to Selemene’s Dark Moon Order and hope to find the truth about Mene’s return prophecy made by Invoker.
Is it true that lotuses are the key to her return or is this another lie laid by the great Elf, who is known to have an unmatched memory, but also has a history of lying?
Created by Ashley Miller, who is most known for his work for X-Men: First Class, Thor, and Black Sails, and animated by Studio Mir, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 2 is less than a month away from arriving on Netflix. Mark your calendars: January 6, 2022!
