SEA team Tigers will need to fill two places as they lose both Kenny 'Xepher' Deo and Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin as the DPC 2018-2019 starts to wind down.
There isn't much time left in the season, only one more set of DPC events and then time for the International. Teams that have not had as many achievements as they would have liked are expected to try some shakeups in the rosters over the next two months.
According to the press release, Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin had chosen to leave the team on his own accord due to lack of results, to seek something 'new'. It is unclear if the situation is the same for Kenny 'Xepher' Deo.
Saying goodbye to players has always been the hardest part of being a manager, and even more so with the departure of Kenny and Danil. When Kenny first joined the team, he was a shy kid who had trouble speaking with others in English, but his love for the game pushed his limits and he has grown so much as a player and person. Danil's infectious, constantly happy mood kept us going through difficult times, and we will cherish the time he spent with the team and sharing his experience with the rest of us. Their shoes will be hard to fill, but we will press on. We had a great time working together with Kenny and Danil, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors
- Dawei 'Xero' Teng, manager.
The team was already playing with stand-ins for both players in the Betway Asian Dota 2 League which just ended a few days ago. Tigers have not had much success despite having recruited both Dendi and Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung back in January. Tigers are currently sitting in 25th position of the DPC rankings with 61.44 points, which now drop by another 40% for the two player change.
