Epulze and Loot.bet have partnered up for the Winter Masters online event featuring a 50,000€ prize pool and some fan-favorite teams.
There is still plenty of Dota 2 action to be had during the holidays as Epulze and Loot.bet have teamed up to create an online tournament featuring 12 teams and a whopping 50,000€ prize pool.
Invited teams include Alliance, Forward Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas so far as part of the Winter Masters - teams directly seeded into the playoffs. Seven more big name teams will be invited to participate, one more Winter Master and six teams being invited to the group stage. Team announcements will be coming in the next few days.
Kaipi has already qualified for the event through the open qualifiers last weekend, and aspiring teams still have one more chance to claim a place among the best in the West. Registration is now open HERE. With the open qualifiers taking place this Saturday, December 22nd at 14 CET, there is still plenty of time and space for teams to compete.
The main event will take place from December 27-January 5th.
Winter Masters Format:
- 12 Teams
- Group Stage:
- Bo1 round robin
- Top 4 teams advance to the first round of the playoffs
- Bottom 4 team are eliminated
- Playoffs:
- Double Elimination Bracket
- Top 4 group stage teams will face off against the 4 Winter Master teams.
- All UB games are Bo3
- All LB games are Bo1
- Bo3 LB Finals
- Bo5 Grand Finals
