NiP take their first title at Dota 2 Invitational

Ninjas in Pyjamas have claimed their first title of the season at GG.Bet Invitational after returning to Dota 2 last month.  

Its been a sweet run of success for the Swedish organization after making their triumphant return to Dota 2 for the new DPC 2018-2019 season. NiP re-entered the competitive scene after a year away when they picked up the newly formed team Shangri La created by Peter 'PPD' Dager. After showing a strong start by taking a slot in the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Major the team has continued to receive praise and reward for their performances. 

The team was soon after invited to participate in several online and LAN events, one of them being GG.Bet Invitational online tournament with a $50,000 prize pool. 

After being one of four teams to survive the group stage, NiP went through the playoffs undefeated. They first knocked out Alliance and then swept through Gambit in the grand finals to claim the trophy, $22.500 first place prize and their first title of the season. 

NiP will be competing in the Maincast Autumn Brawl online event and appearing in two weeks at ESL One Hamburg 2018 and then Kuala Lumpur Major in the early part of November.
