Newbee remove Catyou from lineup already

In the days following the Chinese Kuala Major regional qualifiers, Newbee has removed one of their players from the lineup according to the Majors/Minors official registration page.

At the start of the new season, Newbee had announced the lineup for their main team and their secondary one - Mr. GameBoy

Newbee failed to qualify for The Kuala Major. Although they came in first place in their group with a 4:2 record and started the playoffs in with the upper bracket advantage, the team was dropped to the lower brackets after a 2:0 sweep by ViCi Gaming. They were then eliminated by Team Serenity 2:1 immediately after, ending their road to The Kuala Major through the qualifiers.

Only one day later, the newer player Tang "CatYou" Xiaolei was removed from the roster and added to the team's new squad Newbee.MGB according to the official team registration page. No one has been added to the Newbee roster yet and there has been no official word from the organization.

With the new DPC rules in place, teams can make changes to their rosters at any time.

HOW DOES THE REGISTRATION PROCESS WORK?

Players and teams can be registered at any point during the season. There is no longer any hard deadline when team rosters are locked, though there are DPC point penalties for making changes to your roster and for playing with subs.

WHO CAN REMOVE A PLAYER FROM A TEAM?

The manager of a team can remove any player from their team, and any player can remove themselves from a team. Doing so will incur a penalty to the team of 20% of all DPC points earned up to that point in the season.

Newbee will have a second chance to claim a spot at The Kuala Lumpur Major if they can qualify for DreamLeague Season 10 Minor and win the title.

Newbee roster:
China Xu 'Moogy ' Han
China Song 'Sccc' Chun
China He "Inflame" Yongzheng
China Zeng 'Faith' Hongda
