Forward Gaming makes their entrance into esports by picking up a top NA team to represent them: ex-VGJ.Storm.
About two weeks ago the team that was formerly known as VGJ.Storm had announced not only that they were replacing Jingjun 'Sneyking' Wu with Fnatic player Saahil ‘UNiVeRse’ Arora, but also leaving the organization.
There was much speculation as to where the squad would end up with a few established esports organizations voicing their interest in venturing into Dota 2. In the end, it was a new esports organization that would win the trust and partnership of one of NA's top teams.
Forward Gaming is based out of New York, convenient since the team was originally living there. They are newly established with Dota 2 being their first esports adventure. An extensive blog reveals how the Venture Capitalist group decided to get involved in the industry and why they chose Dota 2 to begin with.
Forward Gaming's debut will be next week in the NA regional qualifiers for The Kuala Lumpur Major.
Forward Gaming Roster:
