Team Empire rebuilds around Miposhka

Amid the flurry of roster changes and the post TI shuffle, Team Empire has revealed their new roster for the upcoming DPC 2018-2019 season.

Following a very unsatisfying DPC 2017-2018 season, Team Empire has decided to revamp their roster and rebuild around Yaroslav 'Miposhka' Naidenov. The young Russian player has been with the organization for over two years, joining in March 2016 - seeing the stage at The International 2017 as part of the club. Typically playing in the support role, he will now switch over to the offlane and lead the team.

Last season started off strong for Team Empire. They were able to claim several qualifier spots and ROG Masters 2017 title. The team went into the new year struggling a bit more and ending with mixed results. After failing to qualify for several DPC events in a row and a disappointing 11-12th place finish at EPICENTER XL, the team was forced into the TI8 CIS open qualifiers and eventually ended up with a 5-8th place - in second-to-last place in the group stage.

Now, with Miposhka at the helm, things will hopefully look brighter for Team Empire.

Joining him will be some veteran CIS players and a relatively unknown newcomer - Oleg 'sayuw' Kalenbet. Vladimir 'Chappie' Kuzmenko may have missed his chance to play at TI7, but he was part of the squad that had qualified and is well known to fans as he returns to assume the midlane role.

Official Team Empire current roster:

Russia Zaur 'Cooman' Shakhmurzaev
Russia Vladimir 'Chappie' Kuzmenko
Russia Yaroslav 'Miposhka' Naidenov
Russia Oleg ' sayuw ' Kalenbet
Russia Igor Andreevich 'Maden' Modenov
