Registration is now open for the open qualifiers for the second season of Taurora Dota 2 Invitational.
Last season Espada swept through Gambit 2:0 to claim the first championship title. This season, the prize pool has doubled and the competition is expected to be even more fierce.
Taurora Dota 2 Invitational #2
- Open Qualifiers: September 25-26th
- Group stage: October 1st through 11th
- Playoffs: October 16th through 22nd
- Total 12 teams will play in the tournament
- 10 teams will be invited and 2 will qualify through an open qualifier

- Single Elimination BO1
- Two qualifiers will be played.
- 1st open qualifier takes place April 18th starting at 17:00 CEST
- 2nd open qualifier takes place April 21st starting at 17:00 CEST
- Top two teams from each qualifier will get to the main tournament

Group Stage
• 2 groups of 6 teams seeded equally
• Games: 2 game series, Tiebreakers: Bo1
• Best 2 teams of each group advance to winners bracket finals
• 3-4th placed to lower bracket
• Last 2 teams are eliminated from the tournament
Main Stage
• 4 Teams start in winners bracket
• 4 Teams start in lower bracket
• 8 Team double elimination bracket
• Games including Finals: Bo3

Taurora Dota 2 Invitational prize pool
The total prize pool is $12,000 divided as follows:
- 1st place: $7200
- 2nd place: $3000
- 3rd place: $1200
- 4th place: $600
