The SEA region just got a bit more competitive with the formation of Team Admiral as Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho leads a band of the region's veteran and high rank players into the battle.
As the race for TI8 begins to really heat up and head into the midpoint of the season, new teams are forming and rosters are changing in time for the second and last roster lock period. Locking into place by February 5th, teams have just over three more weeks to make their final lineups official in order to gain full qualifying points earned. Although many teams are behind the curve on racking up enough points to receive a direct invite, early formation of squads still give ample opportunities to all teams for a chance to compete and fine tune their synergy and results enough to compete in the events and qualifiers leading up to the pinnacle of all Dota 2 events in August.
Over the course of last year or more, the SEA has been rising up in the ranks of world class teams and becoming fierce competitors. No stranger to the region, Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho makes his return to area to lead a roster of talent, similiar to the lineup of Clutch Gamers in 2017 that made significant waves.
Ralph Richard "RR" Peñano and Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte have just shifted over from Execration together, while Armel Paul "Armel" Tabios has just parted ways with Clutch Gamers and Marvin "Boombacs" Rushton departed last month. DeMoN was last part of Digital Chaos in North America until the team disbanded in November.
