Three of the top teams invited to DreamLeague Season 6 pull out from the event due to the timing conflict with the Boston Major.
Top four finishers at the recently concluded Mars Dota 2 League, Team Secret, Evil Geniuses and OG just declined their invites to DreamLague. After the resounding success that past editions had, DreamLeague was excited to announce the new season with a $231,000 total prize pool. Scheduled to commence on October 11, eight teams were invited to fight in the League stage for the four available spots into the LAN playoffs at DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweeden. However, the DreamHack LAN finals are scheduled for 25th to 26th of November, a week before the main event of the recently announced Boston Major.
Natus Vincere, Vega Squadron, Team Liquid, Escape Gaming and Alliance are the ones still left in the DreamLegue competition and as of yet the organizers haven't announcedany possible replacements for the departing teams.
