The Fall Battle Pass, which will contain the 2016 Fall Major Compendium as well, has the same format with its two predecessors (Winter and TI6 Battle Passes) and went live last night.
Similar with the previous two Battle Passes, the 2016 Fall One comes with three quest paths to help you increase its levels, a wagering system, a new season of Weekend Battle Cup, and three immortal treasures with top notch item sets.
Once you will reach level 7 you will receive Wibbley, the evolving courier for his season, however this time around the wards, which are coming at level 8 are not evolving anymore.
A very good change was made for the three paths quests, Valve deciding to remove the hero dependent quests until the last quest of each path. This means that the chances for some to ruin your game with “I need to finish Octarine on Leshrac before 30 minutes” are basically nonexistent. The three quest paths are granting for their completion a hero set as follows:
- Path of the Protector: Bane - Helpless Dream
- Path of the Dominator: Razor - Redirect Current
- Path of the Saboteur: Bounty Hunter - Hunting Party
The new Battle Pass is available in the dota2 store for $7,99 and will come with four starting items: The new Battle Cup season ticket, an Autumn seasonal map terrain, the Fall 2016 Battle Pass loading screen and a Treasure I. However, battle points booster packs are not available yet, nor the option of gifting the 2016 Fall Battle Pass.
