Top SEA teams challenged by Orange ESports

Five teams are invited to compete against the host on the Orange ESports SEA Challenge. Each team will be paired up against Orange these coming weekends on best-of-three series. The opposing team will be awarded $300 if they get to win, which is a rather generous bounty considering the prize pool on most Southeast Asian tournaments.

Invited teams:
Malaysia Titan
Malaysia Arrow Gaming
Philippines Mineski
Singapore Scythe
Thailand MiTH.Trust

While there are only five invited teams, we were told that the organizer is considering to challenge more teams. Notable snubs include Singapore's First Departure, Philippines' Execration and Indonesia's RRQ. We were also told that instead of just consuming the coming February weekends, there will be matches until March.

While the entirety of the schedule is yet to be finalized, the first match of the SEA Challenge has already been set. The first team to have a shot is fellow Malaysian-team Arrow Gaming, with their best-of-three scheduled this 16 February at 15:00 CET (22:00 SGT).

MiTH.Trust and Mineski will most likely be scheduled on the week after, while Titan and Scythe are reportedly uninterested.

The games will have an English stream on DotaTalkTV.
