DeMoN to Korea, joins MVP Phoenix

Jimmy 'Demon' Ho will be flying to Seoul, Korea tomorrow to join MVP Phoenix to compete in Nexon Sponsorship League Season 2. His team consists of March, Heen, FoReV and Reisen.

Rumours and hints appeared earlier today that the former Team Dignitas player Jimmy 'Demon' Ho will be heading to Korea to join MVP Phoenix, MVP's second Dota 2 division. We've just received confirmation from our South Korean correspondent and Nexon that this is indeed happening.

Nexon told us that Ho will be staying in Seoul for a month to compete in the second season of Nexon Sponsorship League, standing-in for a team until they find a stable fifth. Nexon also told us that Ho will be arriving at Seoul on the 1st of December.

According to Ho, he will most likely be taking up the solo mid role in MVP although he would need some practice to shake off the rust. Joining the team along with Ho will be the former fOu captain Tae-Won 'March' Park and the former Starcraft 2 pro Souaib 'cArn' Hanaf (not to be mistaken with Counter-Strike pro from Sweden). Hanaf will be the sixth man of the team.

Prior to this, Ho has travelled to Seoul to compete in Nexon Invitational Super Match alongside his teammates in Team Dignitas. After returning to the United States, Steven 'Korok' Ashworth was booted from the team and subsequently, Theeban '1437' Siva and Scott 'BleeK' Jensen left. With two players only left in the team, Dignitas dissolved their sponsorship and Ho has been team-less since then.

Ho is the second foreign Dota 2 player to join a Korean team with William 'Blitz' Lee, famous streamer and part time caster for BeyondTheSummit, announcing that he will be replacing Park in fOu a few weeks ago.

MVP Phoenix team roster:

Korea March
Korea Heen
Korea FoReV
Korea Reisen
United States Demon

Correction: We previously stated Ho will be staying for more than a month in Korea. He will only be standing-in for MVP Phoenix for a month. In an interview with DotaRadio, Ho stated he has plans for 2014.
