DreamLeague Season 24 Survival Guide: Teams, prize pool, format, broadcasts and more

DreamLeague Season 24 kicks off Sunday, October 27th with 16 teams competing for the lion's share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

Ain't no rest for the wicked. The next event is already prepping the action with several teams that are currently competing at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 (finishing up on Saturday) or just finished participating in PGL Wallachia Season 2 (concluded October 13th).

The ESL Pro Tour season begins this weekend as DreamLeague Season 24 starts on Sunday, October 27th, and continues through November 11th.

Once again we will be able to get to watch teams continue to settle into their new rosters – some of which struggled a bit in BetBoom Dacha Belgrade currently taking place such as  Gaimin Gladiators featuring Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov and Team Liquid with Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek, as well as BetBoom Team and Team Spirit's updated lineups. Not to mention Nigma Galaxy, who we continue to hold higher hopes for.

Tundra Esports' overhauled roster built by Neta “33” Shapira has been a treat for fans so far and is expected to carry on with their current momentum seen in BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024.

The big team to keep an eye on is Xtreme Gaming who took a longer break than most teams and skipped the first two tournaments of the new season.

And of course, the DreamLeague Season 23 defending champions, Team Falcons will be on hand. This team, which made no roster changes is still on fire and a fierce opponent. Since TI2024, Falcons took 2nd place at PGL Wallachia Season 2 and are currently in the Upper Bracket Finals of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade.

What makes DreamLeague more exciting than even some of the other LAN events such as PGL or BetBoom is that there tends to be more at stake. Teams will be competing for not just the prize money but also the EPT points that will grant them access to future seasons as well as the ESL One events – the next one being ESL One Bangkok 2024 in December.

The action starts on Sunday, October 27th with some really intense rivals going head-to-head.
