The International 2024 is now headed into its Finals Weekend as the eight remaining teams fight for the Aegis of Champions.
The International 2024 is winding down. As it heads into the finals weekend, the Aegis is up for grabs as defending champions Team Spirit have already been eliminated.
Eight teams are left to grapple for the title and trophy. Some dreams will be shattered, others realized.

The International 2024 Final Eight Teams
This is the first edition of the tournament since 2017 teams have been selected through a direct invite process, and the first since 2019 to feature open qualifiers.
For The International there were six regions – MENA was grouped with Western Europe.

- Ten teams from regional qualifiers
- Two teams each from Western Europe, China, Southeast Asia, and South America
- One team each from Eastern Europe and North America

Similar to the previous year, The International 2024 is split into two distinct phases: The qualifiers, group stage, and playoffs (until top 8) are branded as part of The Road to The International, while the playoffs for the remaining 8 teams are branded as The International itself.

The International 2024 Prize Pool
The initial prize pool of the tournament is $1,600,000. An additional 25% of all Compendium sales are added to the total prize pool. The current total prize pool is $2,511,469, meaning $911,469 has been added.
