10. Akke's Dota-named cats
If you play a lot of Dota, it is supposed to be shown in your life outside Dota as well. Especially when the very game made you a millionaire. In this case, Akke named his cats Shiva and Midas. Paws of Midas incoming? Meanwhile, Loda would have prefered a cat to be named after him but it is a common belief that Akke is saving that for his first born child.

It must feel quite special if you're a workshop artist and your item gets featured somewhere on the Dota 2 blog. However, the feelings might be mixed if it gets featured under the segment "Offerings" and there is a picture of your item burning.

5. XBOCT stand-in officially too good.
XBOCT had a day where he played stand-in for everyone, first for NEXT and then he went on the play for both PR and Relax. The two latter were in the same tournament, both upper semis of CIS Carnage. This caused a lot of discussions as the two teams were to face up in the upper finals, starting the Standin.XBOCT vs Standin.XBOCT trends.

Enigma's Black Hole got a buff in the recent patch. One player in specific is expressing certain optimism about this change. No more "PGG-holes", in which the characteristics are to hit as few heroes as possible.
