GG-Client DotA tournament

205

A DotA tournament will be held on the second weekend of May open for all teams registered at GG-Client.

GG-Client, the well-known module for WarCraft and DotA where lag issues are solved because of a P2P system is hosting a tournament. This is the first official tournament we see from the organization, and they will start small with only allowing 16 teams to take part. You do have to be a clan in the GG-Client to enter, but expect a high level of competition.

The tournament will be held over the weekend, and the winners will gain 5,000 experience in their ladder plus two months of Premium membership. The runner-up team will be given 3,000 experience and one month of premium membership. The team ending third will be given 2,000 per team member.

For all the others who are not members of the GG-Client community, they say in the announcement that they will most likely open an European tournament in a month or two after this.

They will be using self made rules, which can be read » in a forum thread at GG-Game.com. Note that you have to be registered to access it.

For all interested in signing up, do it in » this forum post and follow the instructions there. Best of luck to all teams.
