Talon revealed their newest Counter Strike 2 lineup, including former VERTEX players and NIP Coach.
TALON revealed their newest game addition with the announcement of a Counter-Strike team. This is their first Counter-Strike 2 Team, and features a core of talented players from Oceania. They succeeded in recruiting former VERTEX players who played under the Bad News Kangaroo banner, addict and Jared “HaZR” O'Bree after the closure of their CS division in early 2024.
Besides these two players, TALON also recruited Aaron “AZR” Ward, Corey “nettik” Browne, and Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak for their lineup. AZR was a former EXTREMUM Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player who finally returned to competitive after his hiatus in 2023. Talon chose AZR as the captain of the team. Former Team Falcons player, mhL joined the organisation after his loan spell with 9INE ended.
The team also features Daniel “djL” Narancic as Head Coach, bringing in a wealth of experience and leadership. He was Ninjas in Pyjamas former coach from 2022. The creation of the division was a particularly special occasion for TALON’s co-founders, Sean Zhang and Jarrold Tham, whose roots and background hailing from Australia. This has been a project that has been in the works since 2017, ever since their first attempt with a roster originating from Taiwan.
