Ropz is sidelined due to COVID19.
FaZe Clan has announced that Justin “jks” Savage will stand in for Robin “ropz” Kool at IEM Katowice 2022. The Australian will be standing in for the Estonian who was confirmed to be infected with COVID19. He will be in 10-day quarantine, thus left out of the early stages of IEM Katowice. He will only be clear of his quarantine after 19 February.
The organization will be starting their quest for the IEM Katowice title starting this 15 February, where the team will be facing Sprout. The winner of the match will face off the winner of the MOUZ versus GODSENT match to grab a ticket to the Group stage of the tournament.
This will be jks’s return to a professional tournament in October 2021, where he played at the IEM Winter 2021 EU Closed Qualifiers. He was with Complexity Gaming then, but he was benched in November due to poor results with the team.
The question is will this stand-in stint give him the chance to shine again, or will he be relegated to just a temp player moving forward. This stint with FaZe Clan may just give everyone the answer.
