The Polish team has announced the addition of INSHOCK's MICHU, who will replace the recently released MINISE.
Following some recent struggles and an inability to crack the upper tier of CS:GO teams, Gamers2 felt it was necessary to make a bold roster move. The squad failed to qualify for ESL One Katowice and were unable to win a single map at Gfinity Spring Masters.
As a result, Gamers2 has opted to let go of Jacek "MINISE" Jeziak, who had been playing with his former teammates since early 2014. Stepping into his shoes is Micha? "MICHU" Müller, a former member of ESC Gaming last summer.
Having played together before, Gamers2 should not have much trouble incorporating their new acquisition into their play style and strategies. The talented MICHU was seen standing in for Virtus.Pro at Gfinity Spring Masters, where he provided solid contributions in helping VP to a third place finish.
Gamers2's captain, Pawel "innocent" Mocek, said the following regarding the change:
MICHU's statement:
Gamers2 now has the following lineup:
Grzegorz "szpero" Dziama?ek
Pawel "innocent" Mocek
Miko?aj "mouz" Karolewski
Karol "rallen" Rodowicz
Micha? "MICHU" Müller
You can see the new Gamers2 roster in action later today when they take on Flipsid3 Tactics in the CEVO Professional Placement Tournament. The team will hope to immediately build on their 5th-6th place finish last weekend at the Copenhagen Games.
