Singapore's first-ever major CS2 tournament will feature eight of the world's best CS2 teams fighting for their share of a $1 million prize pool.

The Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 is set to kick off on October 30 in Singapore, featuring eight of the best CS2 teams in the world fighting for the lion's share of $500,000 out of a $1 million prize pool.

The eight teams competing in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 are comprised of the winners of some of the other biggest CS2 events of the year as well as top-ranked teams in the BLAST Premier Global Leaderboard. Here's the full list of teams competing in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024:

• Team Spirit: BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 and IEM Katowice 2024 winners
• G2 Esports: BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 winners
• Natus Vincere: PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 winners
• Team Vitality: IEM Cologne 2024 winners
• FaZe Clan: BLAST Premier Global Leaderboard
• MOUZ: BLAST Premier Global Leaderboard

CS2 BLAST Premier World Final 2024 Format

The BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 is split into two distinct phases: the Group Stage, taking place from October 30 to October 31, and the Playoffs, which will run from November 1 to November 3.

The Group Stage will split the eight participating teams into two groups of four, each competing in a double-elimination GSL format with best-of-three matches. Three teams from each group will be able to qualify for the Playoffs.

Each group will begin with two Opening Matches, with the winners advancing to the group's Winners Match and the losers dropping to the Elimination Match. 

While the two teams in each group's Winners Match will advance to the Playoffs, the winner of this match will claim the group's top seed and a direct berth to the Semifinals in the Playoffs. Meanwhile, the winner of the Elimination Match will earn the last Playoff spot for each group while the loser will take an early exit from the tournament.

Here are the groupings for the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 Group Stage:

• Group A: Astralis, FaZe Clan, MOUZ, Natus Vincere
• Group B: G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, Team Vitality

The Playoffs will follow a single-elimination format with best-of-three matches except for the Grand Finals, which will be a full best-of-five series. 

The Quarterfinals will feature cross-matches between the second and third-placed teams from each group. Following that, the winners of the Quarterfinals will advance to the Semifinals to face the two top teams from the Group Stage. The winners of the two Semifinal matches will then advance to the Grand Finals to fight for the 2024 BLAST Premier world championship. 

CS2 BLAST Premier World Final 2024 Prize pool

The BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 will have a prize pool of $1 million, with the champions walking away with the grand prize of $500,000. Here's the full prize pool breakdown for the tournament:

• 1st: $500,000
• 2nd: $250,000
• 3rd-4th: $85,000
• 5th-6th: $25,000
• 7th-8th: $15,000

Where to watch

The BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 Playoffs will be hosted live at the Resorts World Convention Centre in Sentosa, Singapore. All matches will also be broadcasted live in English on the official BLAST Premier Twitch and YouTube channels. Ukrainian, Russian, and Kazakh language streams are also available for viewers from those countries.
