Eight teams are going head-to-head for the VCT Masters Bangkok title. Here's everything you need to know.
VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Bangkok is just around the corner, bringing together eight elite teams from four international leagues. With a hefty $500,000 prize pool and valuable VCT Points up for grabs, the competition promises to be intense. The event kicks off on February 20 at UOB Live in Bangkok, Thailand.
Here's everything you need to know about the tournament.
Format
The Swiss Stage of the tournament will take place from 20 to 24 February, featuring an eight-team Swiss System format. All matches will follow a best-of-three (Bo3) format. The Round 1 matchups were determined through a live draw at the Berlin Riot Games Arena, immediately following the EMEA Kickoff Grand Final. In this opening round, Kickoff winners will face runners-up from different regions. Teams that secure two wins will advance to the Playoffs, while teams that suffer two losses will be eliminated from the competition.
The Playoffs will run from 27 February to 2 March, featuring a four-team double-elimination bracket.
Similar to the Swiss Stage, all matches will be played in a Bo3 format, except for the Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals, which will follow a best-of-five (Bo5) format.

Storylines to Watch
Several exciting narratives are set to unfold at this tournament. EDward Gaming aims to prove their VALORANT Champions Seoul victory was no fluke, while Team Vitality has emerged as an EMEA superteam. The addition of former FNATIC star Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev and 2022 world champion Felipe "Less" Basso has made them a squad to watch.
Another key storyline revolves around Team Liquid’s Georgio "Keiko" Sanassy, who recently revealed his Thai heritage. As the only Thai player in the tournament—especially with TALON missing out on qualification—this event carries personal significance for him as he competes on home soil.
