One of the best IGLS in the scene is now with NRG for VCT 2023.
NRG is currently in the process of announcing the organisation’s roster for 2023. After the announcement of signing coach Chet Singh from OpTic Gaming, it was announced that another member of OpTic would be joining him.
Highly regarded in-game leader Pujan “FNS” Meht will be entering the ranks of NRG for VCT 2023. Prior to OpTic, he was with Team Envy. He was the IGL that led OpTic to their trophy at Masters Reykjavik, and top-three finishes at Copenhagen and Istanbul. Under his leadership, OpTic showed a very consistent performance to put them at the top of the table. NRG’s signing is a good indication that he should be able to deliver a similar performance for the partnered NA team.
The 30-year-old is expected to be joined by more ex-OpTic players. Victor “Victor” Wong and Austin “crashies” Roberts are expected to sign up with him in the coming days. Also expected to join the team is former FunPlus Phoenix star Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, who will be joining the roster in Los Angeles from EMEA.
All 30 partnered teams from the three global leagues will compete in the VCT 2023 Kickoff event in Sao Paulo, Brazil in February.
