The Swedish organization welcomes their first all-women squad and Luminosity refreshes their 2022 roster.
With the VCT qualifiers just around the corner, teams are rushing to finalise their rosters to face the new VCT 2022 season. This includes deploying a new all-women team for the Game Changer circuit, which will see a global LAN event at the end of the year.
Alliance
Esports organization Alliance has announced that they have signed on an all-women VALORANT team – known as Alliance.Coven. The new lineup will be competing in the EMEA VCT Game Changers circuit.
The lineup consists of:
- Lada “h6tedthemost” Kozhemyakina
- Jade Duffy
- Dana “Danah” Almadhoun
- Julie “Pinkalie” Lim
- Laure “Xaline” MATEOS
The ladies had previously worked with the organization-less team Chat Banned.
“For me, Alliance represents a family spirit. Alliance seems to want to materialize major esports projects and support their players throughout, so we are embarking on the adventure in our turn altogether.” – Xaline
“Today we take a huge leap for Alliance as an organization and complete a personal dream of mine as we welcome our first all-women’s division in VALORANT Coven. Coven is a division of fierce competitors who will represent the values we’ve been building in Alliance for years. I’m especially happy that we will be represented by players from all over the World: Russia, Qatar, Scotland, and France.” - Kelly Ong Xiao Wei, chief strategy officer of Alliance
The team will be competing in the VALORANT Championship Tour Qualifier, VLR France: Revolution Qualifiers, and the VCT Game Changers in January.
