SC2:New Unit and Screen Shots

Blizzard has done the unthinkable and brought us another brand new unit accompanied by some awesome screen shots!

The newest StarCraft 2 unit is the Tauren Marine, a very powerful and useful addition to the Terrans. Apparently while the Terran race was conquering the galaxy they stumbled across a planet called Azeroth, where the Tauren people resided. As usual they went about recruiting anybody they could find among this powerful race of cattle.

The Mad Cow

In this artwork we have one of the Tauren Marines fighting his way through a pile of enemies. It is yet to be revealed if the odd green creature on his shoulder is part of the Terran arsenal or just a sidekick to the powerful cow. But one thing is sure the new unit is very powerful, even imbalanced one might say. As you can see in the videos on the Blizzard website, the Tauren Marine has no trouble destroying an entire Terran base.

Whats next?

What will Blizzard come up with next in this saga that is StarCraft 2? That remains to be seen, but this latest release shows a lot of promise for any forthcoming units.
