Overwatch 2’s Le Sserafim music video collab sees a few of the game’s heroes get together for a K-pop concert.
The K-pop group Le Sserafim has released a music video for its latest single ‘Perfect Night’, which was made in collaboration with Overwatch 2. The music video features cinematics with five of the game’s heroes - Tracer, Kiriko, D.Va, Brigitte and Sombra - as the group heads into a K-pop concert. This video is just one part of the promised Le Sserafim x Overwatch 2 collab, which also includes Tracer and gang’s K-pop outfits as skins and an upcoming in-game event.
The game’s Le Sserafim skins are set to drop in early November, and you can check out what they look like in the video below:
Overwatch 2’s Le Sserafim skins
Le Sserafim’s Perfect Night music video is a pretty fun watch, with one half made up of the band’s punchy dance choreography while the other half follows Brigitte, D.Va, Kiriko and Tracer as they get ready to head out for a concert. Blizzard’s cinematics team kills it here as always on the animation, with some neat little details like Kiriko using her ult to help the crew speed up to make it to the concert on time, and Tracer using a Recall to get extra tickets for the show.
Tracer and crew also run into Sombra on their way to the concert, which is a neat little excuse for all five characters to get Le Sserafim-inspired skins despite technically being enemies. All’s well in love and K-pop, I suppose. The outfits themselves look pretty great, even if you’re not a fan of the band - just ignore some of the branding and they’re great casual skins on their own. Unfortunately, Blizzard is likely to shove these skins into an extremely pricey bundle rather than sell each one on their own, so hopefully you have some Overwatch Coins saved up.
These skins - and the as-yet unrevealed Le Sserafim-themed game mode - are set to go live in Overwatch 2 on November 1, with more details to come over the next few days.
BlizzCon 2023's Overwatch 2 schedule
BlizzCon 2023 runs from November 3-4 this week, and Overwatch 2 is going to be part of the festivities. Le Sserafim will appear in person on November 4 to perform ‘Perfect Night’ and close the show, but Blizzard also has, “a few surprises in store,” for the shooter, including the grand reveal of its next hero.
On November 3, BlizzCon 2023’s opening ceremony will run through new announcements for World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, Hearthstone, Warcraft: Rumble and Overwatch 2, revealing the shooter’s new hero. Later on the same day, Overwatch 2’s development team will do a deep dive into the new hero and premiere their origin story cinematic. On November 4, the developers will host a ‘What’s Next’ panel to talk about Overwatch 2’s future in Season 8 and beyond, including competitive changes.
From November 3-4, the Overwatch World Cup will reach its Grand Finals and crown the winning team.
