After more than 3 years after the birth of League of Legends, an official Russian serveer is finally opening up.
The Russian server is opening very soon and Riot has addressed that an Open Beta will begin soon. Players that transfer from one server over to the Russian server will be awarded a free 3800 RP. Whether any professionals (such as Gambit Gaming) decide to make the switch is still undecided as Gambit Gaming has much better scrim partners on the more traditional EU servers.
