Killer hit the early-game jackpot by scouting Polt's reactor hellion opening and, free of worries, transitioned into a double forge while rushing to storm! Being denied any hellion damage, Polt switched to mass rax play and opted for a stim timing attack at the front while simultaneously trying to break Killer from the inside by launching a medivac drop.
Instead of splitting his defenses, Killer decided to engage Polt head-to-head by moving out and meeting terran's main army in the open. It was there when the power of faster +1/+1 and psi storm shined and Polt was chased all the way back to his base where he tapped out.

The long awaited DRG appearance in Code S did not disappoint as the MVP zerg showed incredible control while completely crushing Taeja's reactor hellion opening. DongRaeGu continued the war with constant mutalisk harassment upon the SCV line that eventually forced Taeja to do a 2-base timing push.
Needless to say, DRG was more than prepared and Taeja's attack proved to be no problem for him. What followed was even more mutaling harass and more crushing of pushes until Taeja could not stand it any longer.

The third game of the night was a bit of a stick in the wheel of excitement. Killer went for a fast nexus, foolishly thinking that one cannon would keep him safe. DongRaeGu disagreed with this blasphemous approach to the game and went ling-heavy, ending the game before even the first stalker had the chance to pop out.

This TvT brought me to the old days of SC2 when mass marine mirrors were the real deal. Such as it was, the game maintained a state of equilibrium until Polt considered it a good idea to giftwrap his entire army and donate it to the Taeja foundation.
But marine mirrors are as slippery as they are entertaining. Having had supply advantage for the most part, Taeja overstayed his welcome a bit too much and a perfect marine spread from Polt got him back into the game. And if you've learned something about Polt is that guy scary when in the better position. A quick counter surge spelled doom for Taeja as Polt even elevated tanks in his opponent's base to make the victory more flashy.

It is sad to see a player kill himself by not taking any of the appropriate actions during the early game. This is how Polt ended his GSL October run, opening reactor hellions into vikings absolutely blindly, missing Killer's nexus first into blink.
Thus, by taking all the wrong decision Polt found himself most vulnerable when Killer's blink stalkers jumped into his main to instantly kill three add-ons, including a tech lab researching stim plus a bonus siege tank. Polt had to pull SCVs to defend but everyone watching the game knew that there was no hope for the terran player.
