A new tournament will take place in between this GSL season and the next. The format will be a large 64 player bracket that will feature both Code A and Code S players.
Editor's Correction: The pay outs will start with the 16 players knocked out of the tournament from the Ro32. There is no cumulative prize money for each win. The winner will only take home 62.672.50 Euros.
The 64 man tournament will last a total of four weeks starting on May 23rd. Players will win money for each round of the tournament that they move on to starting with the 16 players advancing into the round of 16. The winner of the tournament will walk away with a total of almost 100,000 Euros in his pocket from all of his winnings, three time as much as second place. Players for this tournament will be chosen based on their 2011 Regular Season Point Rankings. Below is the prize pool chart:

The finals for the event will be held on June 18th and will be a best of seven match up. This event will give spectators a chance to see how some Code A players fair against Code S players. As well, new maps are usually released for these non-season events, so there is a lot to be excited for.
