Final DreamHack player list revealed

The biggest LAN event in the world will be going all out this winter with probably the biggest tournament outside South Korea yet.

DreamHack has finally announced the final five players that will complete the 15 invited player list with some big names and add some terran flavour to the tournament. The invited players are:

fnatic.LucifroN

RAGE.Tarson

mTw.DeMusliM

SK.MaDFroG

They will join the likes of EG.IdrA, aTn.Socke and fnatic.Fenix to complete the 15 invited player list. The other 17 spots will be distributed by the nine winners from the DH on Tour tournaments –with players like Skruf and Adelscott securing their ticket this way– and the eight winners of the same amount of BYOC qualifying tournaments the DH administration will be holding.

Played in a single elimination bracket and most likely calling out some of Europe's elite who were not invited but would like a chance at DreamHack, these tournaments may not attract more than just a bunch of pros one could think. Well, in order to give something worth fighting for, the winner of each of the eight qualifiers will automatically pocket 3000 SEK, perhaps more than what most of those invited will come out of DreamHack with. Once all 32 players have been announced, they will meet up in just nine days to fight for a total prize pool that easily exceeds the 180,000 SEK and that will not be cash only but also include hardware from two of DreamHack's sponsors: Sapphire and EIZO. This is the full prize list:

With the elite of the non-korean scene all gathered up in chilly Sweden to battle for such tempting prizes, this DreamHack promises to be one of those tournaments to go down in the memory of the Starcraft II professional scene.
