IceFrog has recently opened a registration section at PlayDota.com for new beta testers. He explains in his blog that the new beta testers will form the secondary beta group. This group is to test a map a few days before its release and will work as an additional stage of testing after the primary group.The following is an excerpt of IceFrog's blog post
Statement from IceFrog:
-"This is a new secondary beta group that is being created. It will be primarily used in the days before a map is ready to be released, as an additional line of testing and feedback. Members from there will also have the possibility of being promoted to the primary beta testing team."
