At the Media Day at the Korean Air hangar in Seoul, Korea, Blizzard revealed that there will be a closed beta period in the beginning of July.
The close beta period will last for around two weeks.
Furthermore, Blizzard will host an open beta for Korea and Taiwan upon the official release date of July 24.
Korean Air, who sponsored the latest Ongamenet Starleague, also announced that they will together with Blizzard dive into marketing events. Two Korean Air planes have been decorated with the StarCraft 2 logo which will be flying in such design for six months.
Blizzard further revealed they have donated €409,905 to the Korean Student Aid Foundation, with the direction to give the money to IT/Gaming majors and ex-progamers.
