The MWI 2024 playoff continued with a couple of eliminations and an impressive showing by the EECA representative, Victory Song Gamers.

Victory Song Gamers, the EECA representative. Meanwhile, 
Omega Empress eliminated the Malaysian representative, 
GG HomeGirls, to advance further in the tournament.
Kioway and her compatriot eliminated 
Cloud9 with a convincing 2-0 win in the MWI 2024 playoff, continuing their journey in the said tournament. Cloud9, while showing promises, couldn’t show their best gameplay in front of VSG. The American representative took home 60 club points for themselves and their club alongside $25,000.
Victory Song Gamers opened the series with a two-marksman lineup using Roger and Claude to shock the Cloud9 squad as they anticipated a tank or classic assassin lineup. 
Nicole “Nicholette” Huang, meanwhile, trusted Julian to work magic just like the group stage. However, the VSG squad could break the Cloud9 Grock combo from 
Ashley “Ashlay” Ann to secure their first win.
VSG picked Julian this time to fill their jungler position now, as Cloud9 got Ling to dominate their opponent. However, the script wasn’t scripting for Nicholette as her squad got battered by 
Gayleee’s perfect performance on Minotaur. In the end, the EECA representative secured the victory convincingly against Cloud9 to advance.
The battle between two SEA representatives didn’t disappoint their fans as both showed hearts and grit to show they were the better teams in the tournament. The highly anticipated bout between Gaimin Gladiators Homegirls and Smart OMEGA Empress was won by the Philippines representative in a 2-1 scoreline.
GGHG drew first blood against their opponent as they completely dismantled the Smart OMEGA Empress with a clever Zhuxin pick to control the battlefield. The only saving grace for the Philippines representative was a kill for their Hayabusa to give a sliver of hope for them. However, it was a false hope as GGHG destroyed OMGE’s base turret not long after that kill.
The second game’s result was a reverse of the previous one as this time Smart OMEGA Empress showed why they are one of the strongest teams in the tournament. They took down GGHG using the dreaded Ixia-Edith combo to show their versatility in strategy. The score was all-level now.
The last game between both of them was a clinic for all aspiring MLBB players worldwide as they showed how to attack, defend, pick off, and muster a comeback. However, with pure macro-gameplay prowess, Smart OMEGA Empress defeated Gaimin Gladiators Homegirls in the MWI 2024 and advanced to the Semi-finals against Victory Song Gamers.
