MSC 2024 came to a thrilling end today with an epic grand final between Selangor Red Giants and Falcons AP.Bren.

After a magnificent tournament, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2024 reached its pinnacle today, with a huge grand final between the unbeaten Malaysian kings, 
Selangor Red Giants, and the M5 World Champions, 
Falcons AP.Bren. With a best-of-seven, these two juggernauts left nothing behind, as they threw everything at one another to secure the title and the massive spoils on hand. Nothing at all could split these teams, but only one would remain standing and become the champions of MSC 2024.
Malaysia rise up
MSC 2024 had seen some interesting series, not just in the playoffs, but throughout the tournament. For the runner-up of the Mobile Legends Professional League Season 13 in the Philippines, first place would not only give them their final trophy at a major event to complete the collection, but it would also secure them yet another win for the Philippines. SRG and FCAP took to the Land of Dawn and there was nothing to stand in the way of these two brilliant squads.
The first few games were intense, with the teams throwing everything at one another – grasping for the advantage. FCAP was already on a high, having taken down their regional rivals in a 3-1 series, but SRG was happy in their win streak which had gone passed the 106-day mark. Minotaur became a stable pick for both teams, but it allowed FCAP to take a 2-1 lead in the series – but nothing is ever settled that fast. Both teams knew exactly what they wanted, and SRG played an almost perfect Game Four to bring everything to 2-2.
Four games down and a possible three to go, there was nothing to separate either team, and it came down to great pickoffs, huge advantages, and calm nerves. It was SRG who took the right step, playing some beautiful MLBB and taking the lead into the next game, with championship point now in their hands. But, it was not over just yet, with the PH team fighting back to tie the series at 3-3 and take us to one final game to decide everything.
When it came down to it, it was an absolute massacre from SRG, who destroyed FCAP in the final game, dropping them at every turn, and leaving the M5 Champions with nothing. FCAP had no answer at all, barely managing to hang on beyond 10 minutes, but even when they stood firm, SRG was beyond their grasp. With that, Selangor Red Giants took a massive victory at MSC 2024, becoming the champions, and putting Malaysia’s flag above PH in the tournament. While MSC 2024 is over, we now look towards MWI 2024, and the teams also will begin to plan for their MPL journeys next season.
