The MSC Committee penalised See You Soon for their day one incident with SRG. In response, the Cambodia Esports Federation published a statement.
The MSC Committee finalised their investigation of the incident between See You Soon, and Selangor Red Giants. The organising committee penalised the Cambodian team by fining See You Soon $2,000 USD. They also turned the result of their bout against the MPL Malaysia champion to a loss due to forfeiture.
Furthermore, PARAGON and CatGod, the analyst and coach of See You Soon, were suspended for four matches in MSC 2024. They can't attend the venue during See You Soon's MSC 2024 matches.
In response to the penalty bestowed on See You Soon by MOONTON, The Cambodia Esports Federation published a statement opposing the announcement made by the MSC Committee and requesting them to provide detailed evidence to See You Soon and the Cambodia Esports Federation.
“The Esports Federation Cambodia opposes the announcement of the 2024 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) Organizing Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday night, July 5.2024 on the penalty for the Cambodian esports team See You Soon (SYS), competing in the above event, regarding the game problem (Bug) that occurred during the Ban-Pick.”
“The Organizing Committee and the Esports Federation Cambodia can monitor and review together on this case. In case of unclear evidence, the Organizing Committee (MSC) should drop the charges to ensure fair play principles.”

The incident surrounding See You Soon and Selangor Red Giants started on the first day of the MSC 2024 Group Stage. See You Soon picked Lapu-Lapu and Yu Zhong as their two final picks. However, they want to redraft as they noted that it was due to a bug, and they want to pick Edith and Yu Zhong.
What should have been a short restart turned into a one-hour delay. The about ended in a 1-1 draw. The next day, the MSC Committee stated that they conducted an investigation into the incident, indicating an irregularity.
