After a brief period without any MLBB action, this week we turn our attention to MSC 2024, as the Wildcard Tournament gets underway.
It has not even been two weeks since we have last seen any live professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, but it feels like an eternity. However, all that changes this coming Friday when the preliminary fixtures for the Mid Season Cup 2024 begin at the Wildcard Tournament. The event spans the entire weekend, with eight teams fighting for their chance to join the main event at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later this year.
MSC 2024 has seen a huge overhaul this year, with the tournament not only opening up to international teams, but also changing its name, and moving to a global stage. With that comes a gigantic prize pool of $3,000,000, and a chance to make history at the EWC. This year has also seen the inclusion of a Wildcard Tournament – giving even more regions a chance to participate on the main stage and possibly stamp their mark on the MLBB world. This Wildcard Tournament is set to take place this coming weekend, and all the teams are prepped and ready to fight.
Eight teams enter the Land of Dawn this weekend, but by Sunday, only one will remain standing as they claim a spot at the MSC 2024 main event. The tournament begins with two groups, which will fight in a best-of-one round-robin to determine the best team in each. The top team from each will then battle to find the champion that will head into Group C in the main event. Below is a list of the eight competing teams and their groups.
Group A
Entity7
KeepBest Gaming
S2G Esports
Zino Zenith
Group B

With MSC 2024 quickly approaching, the Wildcard Tournament is just the beginning of all the MLBB action in store. We will have all the inform on the event this coming weekend, as we continue to countdown to MSC at the EWC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
