It was another exciting weekend of action from MPL PH Season 13, with some interesting results as we broke through the halfway point of the Regular Season.

Week 4 of the Mobile Legends Professional League in the Philippines has now come to an end, but Season 13 definitely still has a long way to go. However, this weekend saw some interesting results, with huge upsets, and big plays all around. For some, nothing is going as planned in the Regular Season, while teams like ONIC Philippines have stepped into some fantastic form.

Kelra’s influence

For many seasons in MPL PH, ONIC has struggled to make it through the first round of the Playoff stage. Not only that, but they have also been unable to have a huge impact in general, but that has now changed completely – thanks in part to the addition of Kelra to their roster earlier this year. Having lost their opening series to ECHO, ONIC has since gone on an unstoppable streak, getting revenge this past week and even handing AP.Bren their first defeat this season. With three weeks remaining in the Regular Season, ONIC now takes the honours of being top of the standings, with two series that should be a walk in the park in Week 5.

Bottom feeding

It was another weekend of losses for TNC Pro Team, who still only hold their amazing win over Blacklist International in week two as their only high point so far. Losses to Omega Esports and Minana EVOS leave TNC at the bottom of the standings for another week – but there is one team that could soon be joining them. Once a stalwart of dominance in PH, Blacklist International has since fallen a long way and it seems as though this season will be their downfall unless something changes in the coming weeks.

Not only did they lose to RSG Philippines, but also AP.Bren, and in every game everything was over in under 15 minutes. With nothing going right, the once champions of both PH and M3 now sit perilously close to the bottom two spots in the standings, and it is possible that they may see another season where they do not make it through to the playoffs.

With three weeks left of the Regular Season in MPL PH Season 13, the standings seem to be rather set for the top spots, while the lower places are still in the balance. It is going to be an interesting and exciting culmination of the Regular Season over the coming weeks for all the teams involved, and we will be watching closely to see just who comes out on top and who does not make the cut.
