With multiple regions heading into their final weekend of Mobile Legends Professional League action, the Middle-East and North Africa join into the mix in the coming days. MPL MENA Fall 2023 begins its Playoff stage on Thursday, October 19, culminating in a grand final on Saturday, October 21, and only four teams will feature in the playoffs. However, this season will definitely see a brand-new champion, after the reigning champions and the team which were top of the standings were disqualified from the event.
A new champion will emerge
Although the information is scarce, two teams, Geekay Esports and Team Occupy, have both been removed from the playoff stage of the MPL MENA event. For Geekay, after a fantastic Regular Season for the Egyptians, it seems as though Visa issues have denied them a chance to obtain victory or reach M5. On the other side of things, Occupy were disqualified due to a case of player misconduct, which saw Team Falcon replace them for the playoffs.
With these two teams exiting, as mentioned above, Team Falcon gets a chance to prove themselves, while Triple Esportss, Okami Esports, and Twisted Minds will also be vying for a chance to reach the top and find their way to the M5 World Championship. Should any further information about this situation arise in the coming days, we will be sure to keep up with it via our MLBB tab – including the outcome of MPL MENA Fall 2023.
