Bolstering the consistent squad of Bren Esports, which topped the MPL PH Season 11 regular season, Team Philippines fought tooth and nail against Team Myanmar in the second semi-final and ultimately outlasted the vicious Burmese Falcons.

The Grand Final will feature a fierce battle between the two nations in a Best-of-5 series. Ozaraveki, the assistant coach of Team Malaysia said in the press conference, "We want to fight Team Philippines, and we will show them who is the King of Southeast Asia right now".
While Coach Ducky of Team Philippines replied that, "[I believe] our team is the better team".
