Blacklist International take control of MPL - PH Season 7

Blacklist International take control of the MPL – PH Season 7 after a magnificent week 2, while Onic try to keep themselves in contention.

After beating Aura PH in week 1 of the MPL – PH Season 7, the massive changes from Blacklist International seem to continue to pay off, as the team remain unbeaten after a second week of MLBB action. Over the weekend, Blacklist would face off against Execration and Laus Playbook Esports – both teams which also secured some vital victories during week 1. However, that did not stop the likes of OhMyV33nus, Wise. and EDWARD, alongside the rest of Blacklist, giving us some fantastic performances. Having only drop a single game over their three series so far, Blacklist seem to be the new team to beat after week 2 of the MPL – PH Season 7 comes to an end.

On the other side of things, having come off a rough start to the MPL – PH S7, Bren Esports were able to finally secure their first victory, although it came after they were dominated by Aura PH. Currently being the only team to have played a total of 4 series, Bren have struggled to find their footing against all opponents, but a win over Execration could be just what the Season 6 champions need to make their way back into the standings in the coming weeks.

Here are the standings after Week 2 of MPL – PH Season 7 has concluded, with a full breakdown of the results from the weekend too:

One of the main contenders to Blacklist definitely seems as though it will be Onic, who will be waiting patiently for their chance to show their ex-teammates just what they can do. Having only played two series so far, Onic look set to give Blacklist some good competition – but they will have to wait until the final week of the regular season before they will get that chance.

Although only two weeks of MPL – PH Season 7 have gone by, we are already beginning to see a few stories building in both groups. While Group A will only see the newly bolstered offensive talents of Cignal Ultra playing for the first time this coming week, there is a lot that remains clear already, as teams set themselves up for the long road to playoffs.
