League of Legends free champion rotation for the week - April 16th

Here are this week's LoL free champion rotations for you to experiment on the Summoner's Rift.

There are currently 168 champions in League of Legends, which would mean that you would have to dedicate countless hours, days, and weeks just to unlock all of them. This is especially the case if you don't want to have to spend your hard-earned money just to unlock said champions, which can also be done via Blue Essence (Riot Points).

However, there is always the weekly free champion rotation to look forward to. Essentially, this allows you to have 20 random champions chosen each week to have for free. This allows you to try test them out for yourself and experiment before actually committing to paying to unlock them. This is only available for all players past level 11 to gain access to the weekly free champion rotation, which also changes every Tuesday.

Here are the 20 free League of Legends champions for this week (April 16th - April 23rd):

  • Akali
  • Braum
  • Camille
  • Corki
  • Gragas
  • Kai'Sa
  • Karthus
  • Kassadin
  • Kayle
  • Lucian
  • Olaf
  • Rell
  • Senna
  • Talon
  • Urgot
  • Varus
  • Vi
  • Volibear
  • Zac

LoL Free Champion Rotation

There is a healthy blend of champions for all roles that will also allow you enough time to get flexible with all of them. If you're a toplaner, you can't go wrong with champions like Olaf and Camille all of whom have been solid picks for the past few years even in the professional scene.

The jungler role is also stacked with champions like Karthus, Gragas, and Vi to name a few whilst the midlane has familiar faces like Kassadin and Akali. As for all the insta-lock AD carry players, be sure to give Kai'Sa and Lucian a run for their money. Lastly, the support role also has some great choices like Braum and Rell.

Be sure to check back each week to find out the 20 new champions available!
