Team BDS will make their LEC debut in Spring 2022 with its latest roster

Team BDS will be looking to take the LEC by storm next year with its finalised roster.

There is a new competitor in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) with Team BDS buying over FC Schalke 04's slot for 26.5 million euros. BDS will be making their debut during the 2022 Spring Split and will be doing so with its finalised roster, which consists of Adam "Adam" Maanane, Jacob "Cinkrof" Rokicki, Ilias "Nuclearint" Bizriken, Matthew Charles "xMatty" Coombs, and Dino "LiMiT" Tot.

BDS has been on a steady upward spiral since their inception into the world of competitive League of Legends. The team first made its debut in the second division of the LFL and won it in the very same year. This year, they got promoted to the premier LFL division where they finished in a respectable fourth and sixth in the spring and summer split. Having already bought over Schalke 04's LEC slot for next year, we can expect BDS to bring something new to the scene.

BDS had also decided to release its former five-man roster in favour of a more experienced squad in the LEC. Aside from NUCLEARINT and LIMIT joining the team from Schalke 04, BDS also brought in the Karmine Corp duo of Cinkrof and xMatty. With one final slot left, BDS opted to sign Adam, formerly of Fnatic.

It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the LEC next season. BDS' squad look to be full of promise with talented individuals who have yet to stamp their mark on the international stage. The LEC has always been one to surprise with last year's addition, MAD Lions, seemingly bulldozing their way through the competition. Whether or not BDS can replicate that sort of form remains to be seen but it will be interesting to take note once the season starts.
