Taipei Assassins advance to the GPL semifinals

The Taipei Assassins destroy Insidious Gaming in a set deserving of the name "The Garena Draven League."

Today's games were all about bebe's devastating Draven, and the first was no exception.  Though Insidious Gaming tried to trip the Taipei Assassins up with a mid lane Morgana in picks and bans, Draven and Karma still fared well against Lucian and Thresh.  First blood started bebe's snowball, and he followed it up with a double kill.

Bebe wasn't TPA's only success story, however, as all lanes won quite convincingly in farm.  TPA also took the first dragon to make their snowball complete.  The defending GPL champions never lost  control, and they ended the game with a Baron and a base rush in under twenty seven minutes.

This game was even more one-sided.  ISG continued to try to trip up TPA in picks and bans, this time sending Karma top, Lulu mid, and Annie bottom, but this also meant Jay's coveted Thresh fell into his hands.

Though BBTY fared slightly better against Achie this game, a feat to be commended for any top laner in GPL, the rest of the team simply could not control bebe's Draven.  With excellent Death Sentences from Jay and a bottom lane focus by Dinter, bebe ended the game with a score of 19/1/5 when ISG surrendered at twenty three minutes.

Bebe probably reveled in the inevitable Draven ban that came from Insidious Gaming as he locked in the hyper carry, Vayne.  ISG came out with their most unique composition yet, testing the waters with GPL's first top lane Ryze, Hecarim jungle, the Syndra mid that's become popular in China, and Taiwan's very own Malphite support.

This game started out the worst for ISG so far with windowlicka getting caught out twice near the top lane.  Bebe and Jay added insult to injury by handily outfarming CRAZYPINE's Lucian with Vayne.  TPA kept the towers up longer than expected, milking an extended laning phase for kills.

ISG took a bottom lane fight at around thirteen minutes with a smart teleport from BBTY.  They took four kills on the over-confident TPA, but by then TPA still had a six thousand gold lead, and they barely felt the effects.  BBTY's bit of success from teleport ganks allowed ISG to stall the game longer than expected however, even as Achie's Gragas knocked down turrets in the top lane for free.  Dinter was much more the star this game with the gank focus in the bottom lane keeping bebe down, and he managed to leap to the end at around thirty minutes.
